a radiant spark that occurs when a connection is forged between two resonant beings.
The name “Arc” was conceived out of the definition of an electric arc, which is “a luminous discharge that occurs when an electric current flows between two electrodes, or any other two surfaces”. In astronomy, it is “the part of a circle that represents the course of a heavenly body”. I took liberties with these official definitions to create something that humanizes these ideals. The foundation of my philosophy lies in the importance of the connection between doctor and patient. To resonate means to vibrate on a frequency that is complementary to another. In less esoteric terms, it is two things fitting together like puzzles pieces. It is my goal, for each patient to find the type of relationship and the health plan that they resonate with, in other words, the puzzle piece that has been missing from their lives.
combining or coordinating separate elements so as to provide a harmonious, interrelated whole.
Optimal health requires a true health ‘team’ working towards a common goal for the patient. Open communication between naturopathic doctors, medical doctors, chiropractors, massage therapists, specialists and anyone else involved in healthcare is the key to effective collaboration, which ultimately benefits everyone involved. I would be happy to serve as the primary care provided who incorporates the input of all practitioners or as supplementary member who contributes to whatever goals have been established by the team. No matter what role naturopathic medicine plays in your health, I will always be willing and eager to collaborate with your other healthcare providers to ensure you receive the best care possible.
the art and science of restoring or preserving health.
Medicine. The reason for all of this, but what does it mean? The truth is that this word changes, depending on what country you are in, what religion or belief system you subscribe to, how you were raised and how you define your own health. The intricacies have changed over time, and all that remains constant is what is stated above. The ability to define this word, in general terms is irrelevant. For some people, medicine means getting sick and taking a pill, it means getting your blood pressure taken and checking your cholesterol. For others it is entirely different, it means rebalancing their system, feeling connected to their bodies, getting more exercise and drinking more water. All of these medicines are equally valuable and equally powerful to the right person. I will work with you to provide the mixture of medicines that best fit your body’s need.
