The practice of Naturopathic Medicine is multi-faceted and varies considerably between doctors.

There is no right or wrong when it comes to individual beliefs and approaches, only a right and wrong pairing between doctors and patients. In my opinion, the most difficult challenge that we face as doctors of Naturopathic Medicine is staying true to our beliefs while ensuring the patient is getting what they desire. It is for this reason, that I have placed the highest value on the relationships that I develop with my patients, not with any particular kind of treatment or system of medicine.

I believe strongly in an open, trusting and collaborative partnership between doctor and patient. Some patients are weary of Naturopathic Medicine, maybe they have heard others accounts of a doctor that “just didn’t sit well with them” or they themselves have experienced a partnership that just did not quite work. As in other relationships, I encourage you to keep searching for doctor that fits your ideals and individual needs, if this doctor is not me, I will do my best to direct you towards someone that can help you reach your goals.
